The Role:
As the Children's Centre Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our centre's administrative functions. Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing day-to-day office operations, including managing administrative staff and delegating tasks
Maintaining accurate records of children and families accessing our services, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
Coordinating communication between staff, parents, external agencies, and partner organisations
Managing financial processes, such as budgeting, invoicing, and petty cash handling
Facilitating the organisation of events, workshops, and activities for children and families
Providing administrative support to the Centre Manager and other staff members as required
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Previous experience in office management or administration, ideally within a childcare or family support setting
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with children and families
Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications and database management software
A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
