Information Technology Support Engineer

Responsibilities:
Support staff with hardware and software problems, servers and other systems (as required) – Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows server 19, Mac OS (beneficial), photocopiers and printing management software.
Onboarding of new starters (IT induction, access card preparation, SharePoint access, mailbox preparation, MFA, Mobile device management - Microsoft Intune)
Off boarding of leavers
Monitoring and maintaining equipment inventory, flagging requirements for new equipment.
Oversee company mobile phones: costing, devices, users, etc.
Oversee endpoint and network security – Unifi Firewall and switches.
Oversee the email server and associated systems (email signatures, email security, etc.) – Microsoft Exchange.
Managing WFH and office equipment (ensuring all office equipment is in working order and desks are appropriately equipped, keeping the IT equipment list updated etc).
Looking after the telephone system (setting up new users, resolving and escalating any issues)
Assisting with roll out of new systems/servers/technologies
Supporting the Audio Visual set up in the office (All meeting rooms) - Microsoft Teams Room/ PC and audio/video meeting room set.
Managing Microsoft 365 Environment (Azure, Microsoft Defender, Teams, SharePoint and any associated products)
Coordinating disposal of old IT equipment
Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in information technology or computer science.
Proven work experience as a technical support engineer.
At least 3-4 years of experience
Knowledge of web services, API, and IP-based protocols.
Experience with scripting languages (beneficial but not essential)
Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
Good time management skills.
