Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Tuxford, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience), pro rata'd based on 37.5 hours.
Working hours - 30 - 35 hours a week, flexible start / finish times and Hybrid working available after training.
Role Overview:
Initially based in the office for training and familiarisation with our processes, with the opportunity for hybrid working thereafter.
Responsible for transactional finance tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Support in controlling cash flow, processing expenses, and ensuring accurate timesheet input for payroll.
Experience in the construction industry is advantageous, although not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping duties.
Control cash flow to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.
Process expenses and reconcile accounts as required.
Ensure all timesheets are accurately inputted and ready for payroll processing.
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and overall bookkeeping duties.
Familiarity with transactional finance processes.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Experience in the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office Suite.
