As a Registered Manager , you will be qualified with a relevant Childcare Diploma at Level 3 and be responsible overseeing the operations of a residential children’s care home and leading a team of dedicated care professionals. This encompasses resource and personnel management, quality assurance, and compliance to relevant regulations and procedures.

Based in North Norfolk, this is a full time, permanent position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This opportunity offers a salary for £42,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

The day to day

Directing the operations of a residential children's care home.

Leading and supporting a team of dedicated care professionals, guiding them from recruitment through ongoing growth and development.

Supervising and upholding the implementation of exemplary childcare practices.

Effectively overseeing both physical and financial resources as well as personnel.

Guaranteeing the highest standards of service quality and unwavering adherence to relevant regulations and procedures.

You will have/be

A relevant childcare related Diploma at level 3.

A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership or be willing to attain this within 2 years of appointment.

Significant experience in a supervision/management role working with children with complex requirements in a residential establishment.

Strong communication & listening skills, being able to promote the voice of the child.

The ability to create and present reports to a range of audiences.

Knowledge of regulations, legislations and procedures relevant to the role.
