Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of exquisite desserts and pastries, ensuring consistency and quality at all times.
Contribute creative ideas to develop new pastry offerings that showcase seasonal British produce and reflect the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence.
Execute pastry recipes and techniques to the highest standards, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate dessert orders and ensure timely delivery during service.
Maintain a clean and organized pastry section, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment.
Proficiency in pastry techniques and a strong foundation in classical and contemporary pastry arts.
Creativity and passion for pastry, with the ability to contribute innovative ideas to menu development.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
