We're looking for an entrepreneurial individual who will join the European legal team as Legal Counsel - M&A.
As Legal Counsel you will:
* become part of the multidisciplinary M&A team to support our M&A agenda and secure our dynamic growth* function as the project leader for the legal stream, working closely with the international M&A team and local M&A Managers to pursue acquisitions across international vertical markets* manage the entire lifecycle of M&A transactions and be responsible for all legal aspects* lead and coordinate due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions, working closely with cross-functional teams, such as finance, HR, operations, and technology, to assess legal risks and opportunities* provide expert legal advice and guidance to the management team and M&A team regarding M&A-related matters, including deal structures, legal risks, and regulatory requirements
We're looking for someone with:* 4+ years' experience working in an M&A team/capacity* thorough knowledge of and extensive experience in running/overseeing M&A transactions independently, preferably within the software or technology industries* strong knowledge of corporate law, securities regulations, and M&A best practices* experienced in commercial contracting* attention to detail and a thorough understanding of legal and business risks* ability to thrive in an international, fast-paced and dynamic environment
