Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel is required to join a Global Energy and Utilities company which is leading the way for decarbonisation and renewable energy in the UK.
Sellick Partnership is currently seeking a Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel to join this Global Energy and Utilities company which are based in either their West Midlands or East Midlands office, on a permanent basis.
There is currently two opportunities within the organisation which has a focus on either residential sales which is customer focused and business to business matters.
As the Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel you will be:
Joining an experienced team of 5 lawyers which is part of a wider talented legal team
Undertaking commercial work supporting energy solutions for businesses to include public sector and private sector customers on a large scale or residential customers
Commercial work will include advise related work, drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts
Undertaking commercial and procurement strategy projects, decarbonisation projects to include offsite PV Solar and heat pumps for either large scale businesses, cities or residential customers
Assisting with the sales, construction, and operation of energy solution projects from initial instruction through to completion
As the Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel you will:
Have strong commercial experience either within energy, utilities, or construction ideally
Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive
Be able to work collaboratively across business units and work independently as required
