A Day in the Life at hazel as Snr Sous Chef...
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Executive Head Chef you can expect your working day to include the following.
Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
Cooking and preparing high quality dishes using various techniques
Assisting the Execuitve Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes
Supervising all kitchen stations and providing guidance to junior level staff
Working with Execuitve Head Chef to maintain kitchen organisation, staff ability, and training opportunities.
What we need from you...

To succeed in the role of Snr Sous Chef, you will need the following qualities and skills.
Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards - advantageous
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role!
Strong communicator with friendly and pleasant personality
Excellent people skills with the ability to engage with staff
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, but also to use initiative and to work autonomously, as required.
