Responsibilities in your new role as Sous Chef
* Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to maintain the efficient operation of the kitchen.
* Craft plates of outstanding quality, emphasising both aesthetic design and exceptional flavour.
* Monitor kitchen operations to optimise efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality.
* Provide supervision and mentorship to kitchen staff, offering training and guidance as required.
* Develop and implement work schedules, and conduct performance evaluations for the team.
* Manage procurement of supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
