Information Technology Desktop Support

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
IT Helpdesk and Desktop support :
Administration of the IT Helpdesk
Preparation and provision of hardware and software for new employees
Serving as the main point of contact for all employees regarding unresolved IT helpdesk incidents.
Assist IT infrastructure upgrades and installations as required.
Providing technical assistance for PC users, telephony, and mobile communications
Maintaining registers for maintenance and IT hardware and software asset database
Develop technical knowledge.
Software Application Support:
Enhancing skills and offering software support for all business software applications.
Assist in the installation of software updates.
Assist on software development projects as required.
Other responsibilities:
To assist in the preparation and delivery of IT training and awareness material
Maintaining consumable supplies for printers and other IT peripheral equipment
Perform other tasks and duties as required by the IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager
Desired Skills & Experience:
Essential
Educated to NVQ Level standard or equivalent experience.
Experience of helpdesk support
Understanding of Active Directory (including Administration)
Office 365 (including user/license Administration)
Azure (Entra ID) user and group administration
IT support (including Networking TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS)
Beneficial
Experience with setting up and troubleshooting Zoom/Teams meetings.
Experience with Freshservice IT service management or another leading ITSM tool.
Software applications support
Intune including
Autopilot laptop provisioning.
Apple iPhone/iPad enrolment
Understanding/Awareness of ITIL support framework
