On behalf of our client, an established aerospace tier 1 manufacturer, we’re actively recruiting a HR Manager to join their team in Leicestershire. The ideal candidate will have worked in a regulated manufacturing sector such as Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Medical or similar.
There is an expectation to travel regularly between 2 UK manufacturing facilities for the role, and this could occasionally be at very short notice.
Role & Responsibilities
Managing and mentoring 2 HR Administrators.
Being the internal escalation contact for any internal disciplinaries and wider HR queries.
Where necessary, managing the exit of staff in a proper and respectful manner.
Working closely with our recruitment partners to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new starters.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar HR Manager position.
Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering business, preferably an SME that has scaled their headcount.
CIPD qualified.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to speak with staff at all levels.
Highly proficient in MS Office.
