Slingshot Simulations Ltd is transforming the way regional decarbonisation, net zero and climate resilience, adaptability and risk policy decisions are made by local and national government authorities, consultants, infrastructure developers and investors. With our unique decision intelligence software solution now proven in the market, Slingshot Simulations is expanding our sales team to accelerate our growth journey and is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative to take on this critical role working directly with sales leadership to identify new opportunities and increase sales velocity. While our current market focus is the UK, the challenge and opportunity is global and the company is on a path to scale and international expansion.
We are taking a new approach and technology to a new and emerging market. This requires a candidate who is an energetic, persistent, adaptable and resilient self-starter, able to identify, contact, build relationships with and passionately communicate our value proposition to key decision makers within target accounts and is highly motivated to advance them rapidly through the sales funnel from new contacts to sales qualified opportunities for our account management team.
Responsibilities
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly quota of sales qualified opportunities and associated leading indicator metrics
Discover, contact and qualify target personas in target accounts
Create, nurture and advance new opportunities for the sales team in alignment with our sales qualification process
Update and manage activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM (Hubspot) and identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook and value proposition
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
At least 3 years' of demonstrated success of exceeding goals in a Sales Development Representative or similar role
Experience selling technology/digital/software based solutions
Experience selling into public sector organisations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Passionate, persistent and resilient, comfortable with change
Proactive and curious team player able to translate technical capabilities into customer value
Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
Slingshot Simulations offers a competitive remuneration package (base salary, commission and possibility of stock options) for this position with OTE expected to be 50% commission based.
