Finance Manager

RM Recruit Ltd is working in partnership with our Jewellery Quarter based client who are seeking a Finance Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a fantastic organisation where you will be integral in decision making and running the finance department.
The role is to oversee the Financial operations of the organisation and work closely with the CEO in producing accurate information.
Main duties include:
Producing Management accounts with commentary
Reporting key information to the CEO to ensure that accurate decisions are based on sound financial reporting and figures
Cashflow forecasting
Continuously improving processes and systems in place to ensure controls are in place
Financial reporting to wider stakeholders
Compiling the annual budget and forecasting reports
Strategic Planning
Assist with production of Year End Accounts
Ensuring financial controls and reporting is in place
Liaison with auditors to ensure the organisation is compliant
Preparing quarterly budgets
Working in collaboration with wider non finance stakeholders
Business Partnering with external personnel and ensuring that the organisation's position is compliant and up to date with relevant legislation
This role is 100% on site at their offices five days per week, however, there may be some flexibility once you are established in the organisation. Our client will consider candidates who wish to register their interest in working four days per week.
As the ideal candidate, you must be Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA) and you will possess good system and spreadsheet skills. Our client is a fantastic SME where you will be the Number 1 in finance and lead by example. Applicants who are experienced in running a finance department whilst strategically working closely with the CEO is desired. There are also good public transport links close to their offices.
Ideally, you will approach this role as a blank canvass. We are looking for experienced qualified professionals to stamp their mark on the finance function which requires controls, systems and a proven leader. You will be proven in running a small team and ensuring financial controls are in place.
