Buyer Responsibilities: Through effective communication and supplier visits you will be maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
Monitoring the effectiveness of the supply chain along with managing stock levels and daily product returns
Ordering of consumables and products to assist production
Updating the ERP system with the correct information ensuring it is correct at all times
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance i.e. quality, pricing, and delivery
Ensure all orders are received on time by following the purchase order process
Attend exhibitions and trade shows when required
Required Skills & Experience: Previous experience within a similar role required
Strong communication and negotiation skills
A clear ability to make decisions when choosing new products
Accurate data entry skills
Able to work in a high-pressured environment
