Salary: £75,000-£90,000 per annum plus some fantastic benefits & enhanced pension
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations and management of service & holding companies on behalf a global energy client of ours.
This role is based in the firms London office and requires a candidate with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Day to Day of the role:
Oversee month-end closing and review management accounts for reporting.
Control cash flow management for treasury and manage group intercompany transactions.
Coordinate the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Prepare statutory accounts for compliance and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities during financial audits and inspections.
Lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and effectively delegating tasks.
Continuously review and improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with VAT reporting, PAYE Settlement process, and all financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other departments to align financial and organisational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or CPA) with 2-3 years minimum post qualified experience.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and financial management software, with SAP, IBM Cognos, HFM being advantageous.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
Strong leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting standards.
