Leader Education are recruiting Teachers to work at specialist schools based in the Leeds area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/adults with SEND or SEMH needs. The schools cater for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and complex Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) aged between 4-18.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm

Requirements
Ability to effectively deliver the curriculum, offering support, advice, and guidance to pupils.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
An understanding of SEND and an ability to carry out effective strategies and care in daily practice.
PGCE/QTS/QTLS
Adaptability and initiative to accommodate for various
learning types and abilities, striving towards social and academic development.
High expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves.
A current enhanced DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one.Key responsibilities
