Are you a qualified accountant with experience in the creative industry? Do you enjoy working with a diverse range of clients and providing them with tailored tax and accounting solutions? Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for developing client relationships?
If you answered yes to these questions, then you might be the perfect fit for my client, a growing accountancy firm who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their friendly team and support them with their growing client portfolio.
What you will do: As a Senior Accountant you will
Support the team with a client portfolio consisting of SME and entrepreneurial businesses
Manage your own portfolio of SMEs and sole traders, providing them with high-quality accounting and tax services
Handle billing and fee negotiations with clients
Manage and train junior staff and oversee their work
Review bookkeeping in Xero and VAT returns prepared by junior staff
Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Compute corporation tax and advise clients on tax planning and compliance
Correspond with clients and regulatory authorities (HMRC, Companies House etc) as required
