Burman are supporting a leading governmental institution committed to serving our diverse community with integrity, transparency, and inclusivity. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Diversity and Inclusion Advisor to join our team and drive forward our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies, policies, and initiatives that promote a culture of inclusivity and equality within our organisation and across the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior leadership and relevant stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategies aligned with organizational goals and values.
Conduct assessments and analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.
Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on DEI-related matters, including recruitment, retention, training, and employee engagement.
Design and deliver training programs and workshops to raise awareness, promote understanding, and cultivate inclusive behaviours and practices.
Serve as a resource and advocate for employees from diverse backgrounds, ensuring their voices are heard, and their needs are addressed.
Stay informed about best practices, emerging trends, and legal requirements related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and proactively incorporate this knowledge into organizational policies and practices.
