The Role:
Working within a growing sales team the role involves prospecting into contacts, introducing them to CMap software and qualifying their needs & pain points. This is done via various channels including marketing generated leads, social media research & self-generated leads. There are minimum KPI targets we expect all SDR’s to meet – these are comfortably achievable. This role is ideally suited to someone that is looking for a entry level business development role and their next challenge within a fast-paced, always evolving SaaS company that is a market leader in what we do.
In addition to internal training, the position includes externally provided Sales Apprenticeship Training, resulting in the achievement of a Sales Qualification within the first 15-18 months of your employment.
Responsibilities:
· The primary goal for an SDR at CMap is to generate pipeline of new sales opportunities for the company by creating awareness, account prospecting and qualifying leads
· This is achieved using a variety of media, including telephone, e-mail and LinkedIn, supported by best-in-class sales enablement tools, including Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Nav and Salesforce CRM.
· Understand the CMap product and value proposition well enough to provide a high-level introduction
· Understands the CMap Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) so that prospecting activity is targeted to the correct personas
· Ensure appointments booked with prospects are accurate and within correct timeslots for the Sales Consultants
· Ensure appointments booked with Sales Consultants are positioned correctly to the prospect so that they have the right expectations before joining the meeting
· Understand ongoing sales priorities and targets
· Extensive use Salesloft and Salesforce CRM, and other tools to build and maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects
· Provide best practices and feedback to Managers and Sales Operations
Qualification, experience and personal characteristics:
· Previous experience in a Sales or Customer-Facing role is preferred
· Eager to learn, adapt well and thrive through change
· Provide feedback for what’s working and what’s not working, and receive feedback and implement changes to constantly improve
· Self-motivated to consistently meet performance goals
· Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

· Previous experience with CRM tools would be beneficial but not essential
