Client Engagement Specialist - In-house recruitment team
Location: Must have easy access to one of the following locations, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Essex, Teesside, Suffolk, Hampshire, Devon
Salary:£38-46,000 + bonus + corporate benefits
Our Client is a market leading organisation with a locations across Great Britain.
As an organisation they are taking the opportunity to look at their £20m+ spend on temporary labour & introduce process and rigour to the hiring of their temporary workforce in return reduce spend considerably.
Are you a Supplier Relationship Specialist focused on working with Recruitment partners or a Client engagement specialist with an RPO? If so you could play a pivotal role in managing and optimising partnerships with external partners. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the relationship with these partners, ensuring effective collaboration, and driving results in line with their performance and commercial objectives. This role also involves elements of account management to foster strong, long-term partnerships. You will also be responsible for the development of the policies and processes for the temporary, off payroll workforce (contingent works) and the permanent recruitment partners.
The Role:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with preferred suppliers for both temporary and permanent recruitment assignments
Implement and deliver rigorous governance through supplier relationships
Act as the primary point of contact for all communication and collaboration between the business and partners e.g. communications around pay rates
Regularly assess supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Seek ways to improve innovation in processes, reduce costs, manage and reduce risk and stimulate performance improvement
Ensure regular and consistent MI and KPIs are provided by all suppliers to challenge any underperformance
Implement a robust tracking system to monitor supplier performance
Generate regular reports on supplier metrics, including fill rates, time-to-fill, and candidate quality
Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Establish and monitor, in conjunction with Procurement, compliance with contractual agreements, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Preferred Supplier List administration & management
Budget Management to monitor agency usage spend and explore cost-saving opportunities
Develop and maintain policy and processes to ensure the full life cycle of a contingent worker is managed from onboarding through to offboarding including processes for timesheet approvals and payments
Ensure all supplier interactions comply with company policies and legal standards
Identify opportunities to streamline processes for more efficient supplier management
Contract Negotiation and Renewal: With Procurement taking the lead be a key driver in contract negotiation processes with partners, ensuring favourable terms for both parties.
Coordinate contract renewals and amendments, keeping agreements up-to-date and reflective of evolving business needs
Develop robust contingency plans that can be implemented during times of disruption or surge
Support the development of the employer brand via multiple channels (online, website, recruitment fairs etc.) to promote the organisation’s presence in the labour market and facilitate the attraction of high-quality candidates through our selected partners
Continually drive improvement to policy, processes and practices to attract, recruit and retain the right talent, reduce time to offer, agency spend and increase retention and improve on candidate and hiring manager NPS scores
Make recommendations for changes and updating the Recruitment policies and Intranet where applicable. Be responsible for ensuring appropriate changes and updates are made.
Ensure Recruitment compliance is reflected in policies and processes. Ensure such compliance is met and highlight any risk in the recruitment processes e.g., Right to Work documentation etc. through audit checks. Manage the completion of key compliance actions.
The Person:
Degree educated, or equivalent
Previously had Client Engagement experience within an RPO or Supplier Engagement experience in an in-house recruitment team
Foundation end-to-end recruitment consultant/advisor/partner positions previously (ideally from both agency or RPO and in-house)
Familiarity with recruitment processes & agency management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Previous experience in a Specialist, senior coordinator or management role is preferred
Regulatory and legislative knowledge e.g. AWR, basic employment law
Understanding of all aspects of the recruitment process, including advertising, direct sourcing, screening, interview and offer and onboarding management
Managing and sourcing for campaign recruitment requirements such as volume-based recruitment
Providing a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience measure by satisfactions scores
Working to defined KPIs including time to offer, SLA’s direct hire % and NPS scores
Ability to produce meaningful reporting and MI to support the management of the recruitment partners
Support in the end-to-end continuous improvement of the recruitment journey
Knowing what best practice, seamless, effective recruitment processes look like, and involves
Strong, clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be able to communicate with people at all levels whilst building strong relationships.
