Day to Day Duties
To manage and motivate the team ensuring that they are always audit ready.
To manage and oversee the daily activities of the site quality assurance team.
To act as the food standard and HACCP lead for the site.
To assist in all audit related matters, both internal and external.
To review complaints in line with SLAs and respond accordingly.
To participate in new product trials, gain customer feedback and make improvements where possible.
Essential Skills
Previous experience within a quality assurance role, gained within the food industry.
Excellent understanding of quality management systems and a GSFI certification.
Experience of managing a team, adopting a collaborative listening culture.
The ability to respond to changing customer demands efficiently.
Excellent communication skills are a must.
Desirable Experience
Excellent organisational skills are desirable in addition to the ability to plan and prioritise tasks.
A right first time attitude.
