The Learning & Organisation Development (L&OD) team are part of the People and Development group under the HR Director. We are looking to recruit a passionate Learning and Organisational Development Manager who recognises the difference L&OD can make to the performance of a business, based out of Bristol.

Purpose of the role
The L&OD Manager will lead the management development and personal development solutions for the firm, helping individuals, managers and teams maximise their potential. Establishing innovative and bespoke programmes, you will work with the Head of Learning and Organisation Development and the wider team to identify training needs and design and deliver appropriate solutions.
This role is fundamentally a business partnering role, discussing, designing and delivering a range of personal, team and management development solutions across the firm. Your broader responsibilities will be both operational and strategic and will include the following:
Supporting the People and Development team through effective development and coordination of L&OD interventions.
Designing and delivering people skills workshops for both managers and individuals, including blended learning solutions as appropriate, making use of our eLearning provision and LMS.
Be a trusted business partner / internal consultant providing with an inquiring mindset, providing advice, guidance and bespoke learning solutions to meet the business needs.
Lead our internal coaching and mentoring programmes, providing one-to-one and team support including psychometrics and 360-degree feedback.
Working closely with existing external training providers on the design and delivery of workshops and sourcing / managing new providers as required.
Keeping up to date with ‘best in class’ L&OD initiatives in your field and making recommendations for improvements to our current provision.
Identifying, engaging, lining up and briefing internal and external presenters/facilitators.
Overseeing and evaluating the effectiveness of workshops/programmes/L&OD and proactively look for improvements.
What we are looking for
You must be experienced, confident and ready to go with existing material you have delivered before. You will be highly organised, and adept at working under pressure. This role will require you to travel to our offices across the UK and typically you may be away an average of one, sometimes two, nights per week. You will have a can-do approach, be proactive self-starter and solution orientated.
You must have…
A strong foundation in L&OD with considerable experience of L&D design and delivery.
A ‘ready-to-go’ kit bag of programmes you have run before and are ready to run again. You will solid experience of running management development and personal development programmes before.
You will be an experienced coach, able to manage other coaches and mentors internally
Able to diagnose the L&OD needs of our business and our people and to customise existing learning content accordingly.
Business partner / consultancy experience, skilled at listening, inquiring, comfort in ambiguity, sense-making and generating solutions.
A passion for L&OD with a desire to develop others and their careers.
Experience of sourcing new providers and managing external relationships.
A warm, engaging, easy going and flexible style, building strong relationships and networks.
Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
Good organisational and planning skills.
Great teamworking mindset.
This role will require you to build effective relationships extensively across the firm, so strong interpersonal skills are essential. It is also critical to our own team as we work hard on our great team environment, having fun, building relationships, and supporting each other in all that we do.
Desirable skills / experience include:
Knowledge of eLearning, learning management systems and blended learning.
A coaching qualification and experience leading an internal coaching and/or mentoring scheme.
Working with diversity, equity and inclusivity working groups and networks.
Qualified to administer / deliver psychometrics (Insights Discovery would be an advantage) and 360 feedback.
