Director, Product Management, Sustainable Finance

Role description
ICE is seeking an experienced product manager to join our Sustainable Finance product team to lead product development and strategy for our climate solutions. You will be instrumental in helping address emerging needs of existing and prospective clients and develop and deliver on our product strategy.
The candidate will have climate risk and sustainability subject matter knowledge, keen to interact and listen to client feedback and play a key role in developing the company’s messaging and positioning with clients.
Responsibilities
Manage a team working to design and deliver best in class climate data and analytics solutions
Interact with Sustainable Finance clients on a consistent basis and cadence – collecting objective data and feedback on how clients use products, and on what prospects and clients would like to see the Sustainable Finance build
Engage with ICE’s sales team to understand client and prospect use cases and needs for Sustainable Finance products and data, and capture that in a productive two-way exchange of information and anecdotes to unlock new opportunities and increase awareness of existing capabilities.
Working with Sustainable Finance scientists and engineers to calibrate product development plans and feature prioritization with respect to emerging client and prospect needs
Host client webinars and education seminars.
Creating and maintaining organized data on product usage, requests, feedback, and problems
Staying abreast of current trends and themes in climate and identifying emerging competitors or adjacent opportunities.
Act as a key point of contact for clients to address any questions, product enhancement requests to uncover new commercial opportunities and expand the Sustainable Finance footprint within an organization
Focused on client relationship building and growth.
Requirements
experience in climate, sustainable finance or ESG research product role of, and a passion for, sustainability issues and sustainable investing/finance specifically
Finance industry experience strongly preferred
Ability to prioritize and analyze information that is both quantitative and qualitative in nature to develop insights for an external audience
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities; strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and as a self-starter
