You will inherit a significant customer base of Flooring Contractors, Retail Shops involved in contract work and many associate organisations linked to the construction industry route to market.Our goal is to grow business with both new and existing customers. As the fast-growing construction market evolves at pace, your role will be to keep at the forefront of the market and new projects – spotting and leveraging opportunities to grow sales with existing products and customers; and proactively creating openings to sell in products and bring new customers on board.You’ll have all the tools to do the job including the broadest product range, great delivery support and top-class customer service. Maximisethe sales of all products across different applications (by market sector) to ensure thehighest margin opportunity can be achieved whilst ensuring billings targets are reached orexceeded.• Work with Headlam group distributors to promote JHS ranges and provide product trainingand support to sales teams.• Identify, record, monitor and convert project opportunities within the marketplace tomaintain and improve market share.• Identify market and competitor information and feed it back to the business in order toensure market requirements and competitor developments are incorporated intomarketing and product plans.• Complete administration on time so that accurate analysis reports can be prepared for usein measurement of progress and forward planning.About You:We’re looking for a proven area sales manager who shares our passion for the construction, fit out and refurbishment markets. You’ll need to have the tenacity, enthusiasm and can-do attitudeto take this excellent product range and build solutions, excitement and commitment in yourcustomers.You will need to be organised, structured and conscientious in how you approach your territory and journey planning, reporting and follow-up activity. Being out on the road means you’ll need to be self-reliant and self-motivated, but we’d like you to be a great team player too!
