As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will be part of a highly skilled, global team, maintaining and automating a vast cloud-based environment supporting my client's platform.
This is a remote-first role, with our headquarters located in Belfast should you wish to utilise the office facilities.
SENIOR CLOUD PLATFORM ENGINEER

Responsibilities
Help to design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-based services
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment
Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, monitoring, and scaling.
Support cloud-native managed services, including an evolution of Kubernetes.
Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment, including the build platform (Java, Gradle)
Experience
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) with a focus on engineering best practices.
Extensive expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP)
Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools
Excellent experience in Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) best practices (Terraform).
Experience in software development in general, with skills in a high-level language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java)
