Job Description
bocboc is a well known independent coffee shop that has been established for over 10 years and is growing from strength to strength. Following recent re-branding and renovations we are expanding and are looking for a qualified Chef to join our team.
We make our food fresh and in-house using local ingredients wherever possible. This includes breakfast, brunch, light lunches, cakes, evenings and and events.
Due to the further expansion of our business we are looking for a Chef with a passion for food and flavour, who is creative, confident and a team player.
Preferably applicants will have 2/3 years minimum experience in a commercial kitchen and be a fully qualified Chef.

We are looking for someone to take ownership of the kitchen to provide continue change of food and provide regular input into the daily menu.
What does the job involve?
Hours
working 37 - 40 hours per week (including weekends). 4 days a week.
day and sickness cover is carried out by staff and so occasional extra days or hours are required
Food/Drink
cooking and baking our daily menus
contributing to the development of seasonal menus and recipes
cleaning, washing up and maintenance of all areas in the kitchen
compliance with all health and safety requirements
assisting in receiving food and drink deliveries including taking products
We are looking for someone with
a passion for excellent customer service and independent business
a flair for creative food and good presentation skills
the drive and desire to help us build our business
the people skills to create an environment to which people want to continually return
attention to detail
