Senior Sales Manager

Due to expansion, our client is seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team. Ideally, you would be experienced in selling Doors/ Joinery Products or have worked in the Builders / Timber Merchant sector it would also be an advantage to have a good understanding of the construction sector. This position is for an experienced individual who can establish & build relationships at the Senior level.
Reporting to: Managing Director
As Senior Sales Manager , you will be working along with the estimating & sales team to promote the company’s products to exciting sectors including Local Authorities, Councils & Social Housing & Housing Associations.
Key Responsibilities as Senior Sales Manager
Contract Negotiations
Staying updated with Industry Trends
Agreeing and setting up framework agreements
Quoting and costing customer requirements
Understanding customer needs and requirements, researching accounts, and identifying key players.
Prospecting & lead generation
Building and maintaining relationships and winning enquiries & ultimately the business
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required as Senior Sales Manager
Proven experience in sales
Knowledge of Fire Doors & Fire Door Certification
Experience dealing with Local Authorities / Governments negotiating and setting up Framework Agreements.
General Construction knowledge essential & knowledge of the Construction sector
Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
Confident and professional telephone manner
Effective communication skills
Customer-focused with sound commercial skills.
Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft Outlook
