Territory Sales Manager -Independent Pharmacy Coverage
We are one of the longest established field sales resource companies in the UK with a HO base in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We provide specialist sales expertise for our many well-known manufacturing clients, representing their portfolio of products and creating new routes to market. We are looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our pharmacy team, covering the North London area including surrounding counties ie Beds, Bucks, Herts Essex. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an exciting, varied portfolio of clients and brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct responsibility for delivering sales growth within your area in Independent Pharmacies and Regional Groups.
Presenting a range of OTC brands and classified 'P’ medicine products to gain new business and develop our clients’ brands within the pharmacy sector.
Developing brand awareness and product knowledge amongst key decision makers and counter staff.
Positioning point of sale, training and educational materials to Client agreed standards.
Build and deliver sustainable growth adding value to our client’s business’s.
Build effective working relationships with customers, client’s and colleagues.
Monitor competitor activity.
About You:
An understanding of the independent pharmacy environment ideally within OTC or healthcare.
A strong track record of achieving targets and delivering results against key business measures.
Excellent people skills and a proven track record of working to KPI’s and achieving growth and new business targets in a Sales role.
Strong influencing and communication skills, both verbal and written, to develop relationships internally and externally to the business.
Collaborator and supportive way of working
Initiative-taking individual with the drive to succeed and go getter approach to new business growth.
Organised with a high attention to detail.
Ability to work well on one’s own initiative and as part of a team.
Strong IT skills including Outlook/ Word/ Excel
A full driving licence is essential for the position.
