They have an opportunity for a commercial Account Handler to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
This role consists of providing a quality service to clients in respect of commercial renewals and new business insurance arrangements - advising, arranging and securing appropriate cover based on the clients demands and needs. In addition, the role requires a range of administrative/customer service duties to facilitate the client’s mid-term insurance needs.
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and customer service;
Ascertain customers’ needs and wants then recommend products that match customer needs;
To develop new business opportunities through effective client relationship management;
Preparing and sending broking submissions;
Operate in a compliant way, in accordance with FCA guidelines;
Apply Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles throughout the sales process;
Customer Services
Providing individualised customer service at a professional level;
Taking payments, calculating premiums and providing other financial assistance on behalf of the accounts team;
Helping customers make policy amendments such as changing vehicles, updating personal information and changing cover;
Liaising with insurers and other parties, to build rapport and maintain an effective working relationship;
Requirements:
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Proficient computer skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Negotiating and influencing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commercial Insurance experience advantageous
Hours: Full-time, 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday. (35-hours a week)
Salary: £25,000.00 - £30,000.00 per annum
