As an Account Handler working for a Wholesale broker - you will ultimately help support brokers to place business both digitally and through a broking desk. This role focuses on building relationships and driving business through for your commercial broker clients whillst maintaining strong relationships with insurers.
About the role
You will collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to ensure a targeted approach is taken with broker members.
You will play a key role in gathering feedback to improve the value proposition.
You will contribute to the development of new business.
Maintain best in class relationships with members and insurers and internal teams.
Key skills and experience
Minimum of 2/3 years proven commercial insurance experience in broking or underwriting with a track record of placing business.
Strong understanding of the cross-class commercial insurance market and processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibility and resilience.
Aptitude for technology, with experience in Acturis and Microsoft products preferred.
Desire to progress further insurance qualifications a plus.
Keen to develop a career working in wholesale broking
