What we need from you as a Business Development Manager:
You will need to have a background in either recruitment/sales or business development
Ideally you will have a understanding of training, apprenticeships or education programmes
Experience is required in managing a sales team and have an understanding of what is needed to achieve targets
You will need to be someone that is focused, results driven, is creative and has ideas about how to succeed
Good communication skills - face to face and over the phone
Experienced in holding meetings face to face or over Teams
Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
Can manage a team well and achieve under pressure
A UK Driving Licence is also needed
What this role involves:
Managing a team of 7, working together to achieve sales, starts and vacancy targets
Optimise business development activity through e-shots, telesales and social media marketing
Increase employer engagement, to maximise the number of vacancies needed to hit targets
Increase sales to large and small organisations - to promote all services
Develop the existing team to create opportunities and approach, hunt down new markets and optimise contact
Working together with a sales and marketing officer to create/influence website content
Visiting clients onsite, attending networking and other events
Salary/hours: £35,000 per year, with bonus. Working Monday to Thursday 8.45am - 5pm and Friday 8.45am - 4pm. 45 minutes lunch break each day.
