Health and Safety Assistant

Our client are looking for a health & safety assistant to join their growing team at the head office in Staffordshire.
* You will be working with/supporting our H&S Manager in the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the H&S management system.
* Review RAMS and safe systems of work.
* Carry out site H&S inspections to identify unsafe equipment, working conditions, practices, fire hazards and then produce reports using ‘Safety Culture’ software with recommendations regarding the correction of any noncompliance.
* Attend H&S meetings with Senior Managers and Directors.
* Produce and present reports for management review of all data and trends analysis and work with all employees as necessary to achieve KPI’s.
* Assist in the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System to BS ISO 45001: 2018.
* Manage accident and incident reporting and associated paperwork.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in this position
* Driving licence due to having to travel to other offices
* NEBOSH National Construction Certificate (or working towards it), in addition Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice (would be an advantage).
* Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
* Have a good understanding of CDM Regulations and H&S compliance
