We are seeking to recruit a Project Scheduler to develop and manage construction scheduling and programmes.

Role & Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring that the scheduling of all logistics of a construction project are co-ordinated within the main construction programme.
Plan and set out material, plant and general site movements and operations across all our projects, ensuring that these operations are scheduled (by the planner in the main programme) with the correct efficiency and accuracy to mitigate unnecessary cost and time overrun.
Successful in identifying any project deviations, slippage, opportunities, mitigations, and communication of such to the Project Delivery Team.
Ensuring that all issues and risks within the programme are highlighted and understood by the Project Delivery Team, providing appropriate planning advice.
Delivering periodic project updates regarding progress, changes and delays that have impacted the project as required with respect to logistics, movements, and general site operations.
Assisting and working with the construction planner and site team to add value of correct sequencing of site activities.
About you
Essential:
A background in both electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
Knowledge of the ‘Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
Proficient user of Microsoft Office package
Advanced user of Microsoft Project
Good general IT skills.
Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home as required.
This a full-time permanent position. The working hours are Monday to Friday 37.5 hours.
Desirable
Degree / HND / HNC in Engineering.
