Field sales role selling a distributed range of ceramic and porcelain indoor and outdoor tiles as well as grouts and adhesives
Selling independent builders merchants, kitchen & bathroom showrooms and tile retailers
Taking over an area achieving £1.5m+
Tasked with achieving 10% year on year growth
Typically three days a week on the road visiting customers, 2 days working from home setting appointments/ admin etc.
Predominantly an account management role
Responsible for circa 200 branches (including Jewson branches)
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Indoor & Outdoor Tiles with:
Ideally field sales experience from the tile industry
If not sold tiles, must have sold into independent builders merchants or kitchen & bathroom showrooms
Robust and proven account management/ account development experience
Excellent territory planning skills
Customer focussed, personable character with excellent relationship building skills
Ability to sell it what can be at time a "spit and sawdust" environment, whilst also maintaining your professionalism
Ability to cold call to arrange meetings
Must be IT literate
