Operating in over 50 countries and with over 600 clients, following investment into a new CRM and ERP system, they have created this new position of Business Insights Manager. The succcessful individual will support the growth strategy by enabling the Executive and Senior Leadership teams to make data led, robust decisions. The insight produced will drive improvements and efficiencies adding value both internally and externally.
As this is a newly created role, reporting into the CFO and with no direct reports, we are looking for someone that really understands data and wants to build something. We are looking for an experienced data specialist that will fix and sort out all the management information and reporting. You will support our client in creating a coherent approach and setting best practice across their global footprint of offices and clients, championing the power of analytics across the company.
Key responsibilities:
Developing a knowledge of the business operation, markets, portfolio, clients, and strategy to recommend appropriate measures and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Building incisive reports using best in class data visualisation principles, tailored for a variety of stakeholders.
Presenting data led insights and making recommendations for process and system improvements
Managing and prioritising the creation of new reports
Lead a global Community of Practitioners and facilitate joint brainstorming and collaboration sessions with regions, markets, and key functions to drive a step change in data quality and adoption
Developing and delivering training (in partnership with regional leadership) as required to ensure all colleagues understand: The power of analytics in robust decision making across functions, their role in ensuring data quality is assured, and their approach to measuring performance.
Ensuring appropriate approaches to monitor data quality are in place for regional management to apply
Lead on the identification and provide recommendations of data cleansing and data hygiene
Collaborate with Executive and Management leadership teams to design and drive reporting across regions and functions
Support in determining what roles are needed for the business
Key skills & Experience required:
Proven experience in executing data analytics initiatives and developing impactful insights that have led to an improvement in business performance and top-line growth
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with proven ability to understand the needs of the business and design analytics / insights to improve day-to-day decision making
Proven ability to work with a wide range of data, building and leading quantitative models for sales, marketing and revenue operations
A passion for data and analytics, with a demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce, PSA systems (OpenAir, NetSuite preferable) , SQL server reporting services, PowerBI, Tableau, analysis services, or any other data visualization tools in addition to Powerpoint, Excel Word etc.
A Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field is preferred but not essential
An ability to build effective relationships with an number of key stakeholders across the business and influence decision making up to an Executive level
