Information Technology Manager

Reports to: Heads of Department, Directors
Description: We are looking for an IT Manager with a minimum of 10 years experience to be responsible
and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements
specifications, costs and timelines. You will be responsible for supervising the implementation
and maintenance of our company’s technological needs.
Renumeration to be discussed.
Key areas of responsibility:
Managing Information technology and computer systems.
Plan, organise, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
Manage training and coaching employees where necessary.
Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organisational policy.
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
Preserve assets, Information security and control structures.
Develop emergency plans for equipment, power, pr security failure to preserve technology and data.
Working alongside the Finance Director with handling of annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
Ensures efficient and effective technology solutions and internet access for wonderland team and new starters. To include Video Conferencing equipment, client meeting, requirements, client sharing systems etc.
Establishes relationships with Technology suppliers and developers.
Researches and stays up to date regarding new technology solutions.
Working with Directors and SEO specialists to manage Company SEO.
Required skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
Excellent Knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
Expertise in data Centre management and data governance
Hands on experience in content delivery networks and domain name servers Configuration management and Testing.
Ability to write Pen Test Briefs
Interpersonal communication with the ability to work as part of a team engaging with all Wonderland’s team requirements in productive and supportive way.
Knowledge of Google, Microsoft, Box, Teams, Zoom.
Knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, legal compliance, cyber security, network analysis and project management
Excellent administration skills
Communication and managerial skills
Understanding of the events industry preferable
Desirable but not necessary a knowledge of web flow, Figma, Word press
Desirable attendance trade exhibitions and workshops to keep abreast of new development and compliance regulations.
