Your new company A public sector organisation based in the Southampton area, offers hybrid working to an experienced Information Compliance Manager. Your new role Your new role is responsible for ensuring the organisation complies with its legal obligations in respect of data protection, Freedom of Information and other relevant legislation. You will be managing and mentoring a small team and reviewing and developing the processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of the Information Compliance department and the service it offers. What you'll need to succeed You will have a relevant background in information governance and ideally a data protection qualification.You will have experience of reviewing, updating and writing policies as well as delivering training.You will have experience of managing and developing teams.You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy with different stakeholders.
