About the team:
The IST team provides specialist, multi-disciplinary input under the Transforming Care Programme to autistic children, adolescents, and adults in order to prevent a mental health hospital admission. The team currently consists of Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Therapy Assistants and Support Workers working across Coventry and Warwickshire. The team has a strong psychology presence and ethos with opportunities to supervise and develop Assistant and Trainee Psychologists in addition to supporting embedding a psychological approach across all MDT activities.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
Experience in Mental Health or Autism
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
Relevant Qualifications
Registration with the relevant Registration Body
Role responsibilities:
Working within the MDT to highly provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for young people referred to the IST.
To highly provide specialist psychological advice, guidance, training, and consultation to others across a wide range of agencies and settings.
Supervise and manage the workload of Assistant, Trainee and Band 7 Clinical Psychologists within the framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
Utilise theory, evidence-based literature, and research to support evidence-based practice in individual work and with other team members.
