As an Commis Chef you will be working within our Kitchens Team,you will find yourself surrounded by a supportive and fun team all collaborating and working towards tailor made guest experiences.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Be compliant in the preparation and service of dishes as laid down by the departments SOP and in line with company red star standards.
Ensuring all labels stored, date coded and rotated in line with the company food safety policy.
Assist in completing the daily check list regarding food storage.
Carry out all reasonable requests ensuring the quality of work is in line with the company red star standards.
Ensure understanding and compliance of the hotels food and health and safety policies.
Suggests suitable ideas that will improve service standards or operational procedures in the department.
Receive and act on constructive positive and negative feedback from senior members of the team.
Sources learning opportunities and offer suggestions to departmental head.
Re act in a positive manner and demonstrate learning from performance reviews
Role model departments red star standards to other members of the team.
Supports team members in achieving work to the highest standard.
Demonstrate high professional and behavior standards in line with company policy.
Assist colleagues as required during busy times.
Understand the benefits of team work and is supportive to all team members.
Attend company and departmental training sessions as requested.
