We are seeking a Head of HR to lead and develop our HR and people strategy. This role involves working closely with the CEO to implement and evaluate HR processes, policies, and procedures, and to provide high-quality, professional advice on a wide range of HR matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in strategic leadership, compliance, and HR management, ensuring the organisation’s commitment to equality, inclusion, and best practices in HR. This role would suit someone with experience in public sector or the education sector.
Day to Day of the role:
Develop and implement the organisation’s people/HR strategy, ensuring strategic objectives are met.
Lead and support specific HR projects as allocated by the CEO.
Work with stakeholders to lead and support change management processes.
Provide high-quality data for accurate risk evaluation and intervention implementation.
Develop and maintain relationships with Trade Unions and advise on employment issues.
Contribute to the Risk Register and provide analysis of risks to the organisation.
Ensure compliance with all HR policies and relevant employment legislation.
Lead the transition to electronic record keeping and ensure compliance with safer recruitment practices.
