Description
Lead a team of junior merchandisers to achieve sales targets.
Analyse sales data and market trends to develop effective merchandising strategies.
Work closely with the buying team to optimise stock levels and product range.
Coordinate with marketing team for promotional activities and product launches.
Prepare and present sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained across all stores.
Train and mentor junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
Regularly visit stores to monitor performance and gather feedback.
Profile
A successful Senior Merchandiser should have:
Commutable distance to the office in Birmingham is necessary.
A degree in Retail Management, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior merchandising role within the retail fashion sector, ideally womenswear.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a strong commercial acumen.
