Salary/Package - Competitive- Dependent on Experience and Location
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Flexible; ideally North West and London
Responsible To: Camerfield Design Manager
Purpose of the post / Job description
To work closely with the Camerfield mechanical design team and also have the ability to work alone being self-motivated and reporting in to the design manager. Will need knowledge and understanding of the current sprinkler standards and rulings. Have a good work ethic to deal with both the nationwide clients and work colleges in professional manner. Be able to prepare designs, schematics, calculations and as builds in AutoCad & Revit.
Responsibilities
1. To work with and under instruction from the Design team management
2. Have the ability to work as a team player
3. Show willing to learn new systems and procedures
4. Organising time with the Design manager for allocated jobs
5. Have the capability to deal with challenges that maybe on sites and able to adopt with the right attitude to overcome the obstacles and in a correct manner
6. To act as a company ambassador, you must be smart in appearance, pleasant in attitude, and capable of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relation
7. Be available for to work away from home and offer over time support if required
8. Have the knowledge of sprinkler systems with the ability to design a system from site survey to as builds
9. Find creative design solutions to problems
10. Create & manage distribution systems and terminology knowledge.
11. Any other duties commensurate with the role.
Qualifications
LPCB Basis certificate
LPCB Intermediate certificate
LPCB – FHC Certificate
Hold a clean driving license
CSCS card
Experience
AutoCad
Revit
Canute – FHC
Skills/Abilities
Excellent customer service skills
Great telephone manner
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCad, Revit
Ability to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situations
The ability to maintain accurate records and time sheets
Ability to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
