Redwood Search’s esteemed client, a renowned hotel in Worcester, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and managing a dedicated team of staff.
The Role:
Overseeing the training and development of restaurant staff to ensure they provide excellent customer service.
Implementing and maintaining effective systems for managing reservations, billing, and other administrative tasks.
Collaborating with the hotel’s marketing team to develop promotional initiatives that drive revenue growth for the restaurant.
Managing food and beverage costs to maximise profitability while maintaining high-quality offerings for guests.
Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to in the restaurant and kitchen areas.
Providing exceptional customer service to guests, handling complaints effectively, and ensuring guest feedback is acted upon promptly.
Working collaboratively with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless guest experiences across all areas of the property.
Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and employment laws.
Leading by example by demonstrating a positive attitude towards work, colleagues, and guests always.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role within a reputable hospitality establishment.
Strong leadership skills with experience of managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Knowledge of Food and Wine Pairing preferable.
