The Company
This Swansea based provider of Safety and Workwear are part of a US owned Worldwide Group.
Supplying Workwear and PPE to customers throughout the UK they have a very busy warehouse who currently need an additional staff member due to continual growth, company expansion and new contracts.
The Role
You will work Monday to Friday 08:30AM - 04:30PM based in a small but busy warehouse. You will be responsible for supervising a team of 4 people as well as working hands on both in the warehouse and completing occasional deliveries. It is a permanent position offering a good salary for the hours worked and giving you a good work / home life balance.
The role is a very varied offering a good mix of duties including:
Supervisory duties
Supervision of the warehouse team
Ensuring health and safety levels are maintained
Stock control using a computerised stock control system
Liaison with sales / production to ensure correct availability of products required
Work flow control and delegation of duties to subordinates
Ensuring staff availability, leave and sickness control
Monitoring staff productivity and efficiency's
Training staff as required
Assessing working procedures and systems, making changes where required to ensure optimum efficiency'sWarehouse duties
