The role:
We have an immediate requirement to appoint a Health & Safety Manager to be based at our Head Office in Southampton.
Working within all sectors of The Trant Group (including Water, Energy, Defence, Gas and Nuclear), the Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for managing Health & Safety Advisors within the business and will report directly to the Head of SHEQ & Training. As Health & Safety Manager, you will assist our operational teams and supply chain partners in ensuring safety standards are upheld. Working collaboratively with the wider SHEQ team, Quality Manager, Environment & Sustainability Manager and Learning & Development Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Monitor and develop the Health & Safety culture by driving our continuous improvement strategy programme.
* Identify ways of ensuring all personnel are aware of our strategy programme and are actively engaged.
