Salary: £36,000 FTE
We are looking for a dynamic Finance Assistant to support our growing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior Finance professional to grow and gain experience within a fast paced, innovative company. You will join us on a part time, maternity cover basis, based in London / Remote Working.

The Finance Assistant Role :
The Finance Assistant will be providing key support to our financial team. As Finance Assistant you will be working with the CFO and Finance Coordinator to complete monthly finance processes including reconciliations and updating and maintaining financial records.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, good organisational skills and working knowledge of accounting software. A first-class Finance Assistant should have integrity, excellent mathematical skills, and an understanding of data privacy standards.
Responsibilities of our Finance Assistant include:
Purchase ledger invoice entry
Bank Reconciliation – cash in and out posting
Expense management
Maintain Asset register and record monthly depreciation
Capital development COST management and amortisation
Monthly account reconciliations (Deferred revenue, Accrued Income, Other Debtor, Other Creditor)
Preparation of Accounts to trial balance
Maintain and update Cost Trackers
Prepare VAT return for the organisation
Suggest improvements on accuracy, efficiency and reducing costs
Report discrepancies
What we are looking for in our Finance Assistant:
Part-qualified/working towards accounting qualifications (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or equivalent experience
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping
Knowledge of financial concepts and principles
Data management experience
