This individual will have experience and good knowledge of month end processes and balance sheet reconciliations. Strong IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software, is essential. Experience using SAP R/3 is desirable.
Duties will include:
Streamline month end close to improve close time
Transactional governance and process improvement
Posting of journals
Agree intercompany balances
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Advise the Head of Finance of any other potential process improvements and implement
Production of the month end pack
VAT returns
Train the team on new processes, ensuring new documentation is understood and followed
This is an interesting opportunity for an immediately available individual to take on an interesting short-term position that will offer a range of varied duties.
