Head of Sales – Events Catering
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Commission
Location: London
Our client is an award-winning event catering company who are looking for a Head of Sales to join their growing team. This role involves a high volume of inbound enquiries, as well as driving new business. Our client is looking for an experienced individual with a proactive approach to sales and a passion for building client relationships.
Main Duties:
Manage the reactive and proactive sales process
Maintain and build relationships with venues
Produce bespoke event proposals in line with the clients budgets and requirements
Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships
Attend client meetings, show rounds, tastings and networking events
Proactively seek opportunities to be listed at new and existing venues
Carry out competitor analysis
Produce weekly and monthly sales reports
Requirements:
Sales Management experience from an event caterer or catering within a venue is essential.
Proven track record of success in the full sales cycle
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills
Ability to think outside the box and be creative
Strong negotiation skills
Passionate about the events industry
