Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in English or a related field.

Proven experience as a successful English educator, with a track record of raising student attainment.

Previous leadership experience within an English department or similar role.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

A passion for English education and a commitment to promoting literacy and critical thinking skills.

Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to use data to drive improvement.

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider leadership team.
