Your new role The Head of Finance will play a crucial role in guiding the financial strategy and operations of the company. You will lead a team of five, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial information and support to the business. Reporting directly to the Group VP of Finance, you will be a key player in managing group stakeholder relationships.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the finance team to achieve excellence in financial management.
Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems.
Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system.
Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
Manage team workload to meet operational requirements.
Directly engage with senior management and group stakeholders to develop cohesive financial strategies.
Oversee the preparation and planning of budgets.
Implement robust financial controls and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Outstanding analytical and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in SAP and other financial planning software.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
